Building
- A few weeks into Cover, getting lost in the codebase and the city in roughly equal amounts.
- Tinkering with agent-eval-kit in the gaps, usually when something annoys me enough that I have to go fix it.
Thinking about
- Agent evals: I keep circling how to test these workflows in a repeatable way instead of eyeballing a demo and hoping.
- Why some internal tools stay useful for years while others fall apart the moment a team actually leans on them.
Away from the screen
- Trying to get back into a real running routine. It comes and goes, but the LA weather makes it easy to start again.
- Chess, Michigan sports, and slowly working out which parts of LA are actually worth the drive.
